Pretty Vulgar is  new to Sephora in Australia, In the USA it’s been available for a while and has garnered a following based on their cheeky image.

Pretty Vulgar is all about contradictions,  the sweet as pie packaging is combined with some shade names with attitude to give an  overall modern feel to the brand.

Along with lipsticks the brand is well known for their eyeshadow palettes housed in pretty birdcage themed packaging.

I was gifted the Phoenix Rising eyeshadow palette at the Sephora shows earlier in the year and have spent quite a lot of time becoming familiar with it.

Pretty Vulgar describes the palette like this

Phoenix Rising eyeshadow palette is filled with 12 long-wearing and highly pigmented, fiery, warm-toned shades. These matte, shimmer, and satin warm eyeshadow colors are created using soft textured pigments that provide our formula with a luxuriously smooth, creamy, and blendable application.

The Phoenix Rising Palette combines two of the hottest colour stories in eyeshadow in one palette. One side of the palette contains fiery warm shades, while the other houses rich berry and purples.

The shadows perform well on the eyes and are well pigmented but also very blendable. In my experience Ive found the shadows produce quite a lot of fall out but it has always been quite easy to clean up
