Tarte really upped their game over the last twelve months. 2016 saw the company invest heavily in social media campaigns and develop  some amazing new products. It paid off, with the brand getting more and more popular as the year went on. Im calling it… 2016 was the year of Tarte.

Watching all the “best of 2016” videos over the last few weeks it was clear to see that Tarte really dominated in a few categories. You were hard pressed to find a vlogger or blogger who did not mention the break through concealer of the year Shape Tape in their lists of winners. 

My love affair with the brand commenced quite a few years ago with one of their cult beauty favourites the Amazonian 12 hour Wear Clay Blush. This round little compact astounded me with its pigmentation and long wear time.

Since then my collection of products has only grown with my love of their no fuss but pretty makeup growing even quicker. The products have come a whole lot more accessible since the launch of Sephora in Australia.
