Its hard to walk through a department store at the moment without almost tripping over a whole range of value sets and gift packs designed to give beauty lovers lust worthy gifts and value for money. From Clinique, Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden, beauty counters are well stocked with great gift options.

One of the best on the market at the moment is the Bright Lights, Big City gift set from Elizabeth Arden. The set caugh my eye last week while in Myer and I was quick to film it for you as stock is limited and the set often sells out quickly.

The $99 set represents amazing value with a total of 18 full sized and deluxe sample sized product all in a large leather look train case. The entire collection is valued at over $600
The Elizabeth Arden Bright Lights, Big City gift set is perfect for mum this Christmas as it contains beautiful and classic looking products in more modern (but wearable) shades. Its a wonderful gift for anyone who loves makeup but perhaps needs a little update.

The four lipsticks in particular contain some universally flattering shades of red, mauve and some nudes in a comfortable formula. Along with the lipsticks, some of the best products from the Elizabeth Arden set include the soft, creamy, matte lip pencils

I also especially like the three (yes three!) palettes included in the kit, the shadows are wearable  (so many nudes there to play with) and again are suited to those need a bit of a makeup wardrobe up date with some modern essentials. The face palette is soft and best suited to light to medium skin tones.

This is one of those gift sets that could easily be broken up and made into smaller gift sets or used for stocking stuffers.
