Some time ago I introduced you to the relatively new brand Nudestix. At that point I had tried a handful of products and was impressed with the portabiity and convenience of the chubby pencils.

Just over a year later and Nudestix have become one of my favourite products when I want to achieve a “no makeup makeup” look or something simple and super quick.

As well as my appreciation for the products, I also really dig the ethos behind the brand, its young and effortless feel and eagerness to get behind a good cause. The brand was started by Jenny Frankel (think MAC lipglass inventor and CoverFX cofounder) and her two teen daughters. Frankel noticed her daughters’ preferences for quick and easy makeup and together they developed a brand of makeup designed around the pencil format.

Ally and Taylor now fly the Nudestix flag proudly, being the queens of the no make up , makeup look and travel the world promoting their products and launching the products in stores around the world.
