NEW! Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection
Rimmel has just released another collection of lipsticks in their ongoing collaboration with British It Girl Kate Moss. This time their partnerships has resulted in the Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection; A set of 5 nude toned lipsticks in their signature creamy long wearing formula. Ive had a little play and definitely have found some winners!
I really like the range of nudes; Different skin tones and depths have been covered here which is sometimes a bit of an oversight in drugstore brands. From the super pale, almost peach coloured nude of shade 040 to the deep brown nude of 048 there should be something here for every one.
Top row: 040, 042, 043. Bottom row; 045. 048
040 is super nude. Its way too nude for my liking and it tended to accentuate the lines in my lips. It did however really make my lips look bigger and more full.
042 is slightly more apricot looking and suits my skin a little more than 040. The creamy formula didnt sink into my lips as much as 040 did.
043 is leaning towards a tan nude. This ran a little warm for me but those with more tanned skin could really pull this one off.
Now we’re talking 045 is my kind of nude, It has a rosey undertone and looks a little bit YLBB on me. This is one i would chuck on for a no effort but finished look.
048 epitomises the 90s for me. On my pale skin it comes off as almost a berry type lip but would be a beautiful nude shade for darker skin tones. Darker skinned ladies are often a forgotten demographic in the drugstore especially in Australia.
The Rimmel Lasting Finish By Kate Nude Collection is available now instore at Priceline, Target and anywhere else that usually stocks Rimmel
