April favourites.
Happy May everybody! April has hit the dust and along with the warm weather it is now a thing of the past! This month I got the chance to try so much new stuff as well reignite my love for some classics from my collection. I was so lucky to be invited to the Sephora showcase and learn more about some exciting brands that are now available to us (in Sydney anyway).
On the personal front the Mr and I escaped the ordinary by heading up the coast and enjoying the last of the sun and the sea for the year. But now we are back and my day job is, on a good day, on the verge of crazy so its taking every ounce of my organisation to keep posting regular content as well as keep up with all the comments, emails and social media that comes along with being Ms LNL.
This months faves are very makeup heavy because .. well MAKEUP but also feature some new skincare and bath and body goodies.
Ive been really impressed with the range of NudeStix that I recieved at the Sephora showcase. These little pencils pack a punch in terms of pigment and are so smooth and easy to blend. One of my favourites is the concealer stick which luckily is a perfect shade for me. A full review of these will be up on the blog in coming days.
I picked the Max Factor Creme Puff blush in Lovely Pink from Target earlier this month and am loving it. Its not a highly pigmented blush but the sheer wash of colour it gives is just beautiful. It also gives a lovely sheen to the cheeks as it contains veining of shimmery colour through it.
I seriously cannot get enough of The Body Shops Fuji Green Tea Body Scrub. I love that this scrub is gel based rather than a cream.. that is the particles are suspended in a clear refreshing base which protects the skin by keeping the scrubby bits nice and lubricated.
The Modelco Double Sided Facial Wipes and the Instant Miracle Booster really impressed me this month. I reviewed some of the collection earlier and these two were the standout products. The Miracle Booster is a really lovely serum which I found super hydrating and actually helped to tighten up the skin after use.
The facial wipes have two separate textures, one side has tiny nodules which help to scrub the makeup, oil and grime from your face while the smooth side wipes away any last traces of impurities. I really like the packaging and at $7.99 a pack Ive found them more effective than more expensive brands.
Thats hula-rious is gorgeous mint green creme that is part of OPIs most recent Hawaii collection. Its probably the best mint green Ive used. Its so smooth and is almost opaque at one coat. Ive really been loving pastels lately and this one the best.
Another Max Factor product in the form of the Excess Shimmer eyeshadow pots. This one in particular in Bronze is amazing smudged over the eyelid. The mousse like texture of this shadow makes blending a dream. It lives up to its names being beautifully shimmery.
Finally, Benefits new mascara Roller Lash has been a success! I love how long my lashes look with this product. Ill do a full review soon but its totally blown Theyre Real out of the water.
At thats it my lovelies, so many things I really loved and really recommend you try. Have you tired any of this items? What were your thoughts?

May 1, 2015Great selection! I can see some of my faves too. I would love to try the Green Tea range from The Body Shop and also Nudestix pencils. I can never find a good concealer for imperfections and those look like they may be perfect. I'll wait for your full review on those.
