This past weekend I hit the shops to get a few products that would help keep me going over winter including some surges of moisture and a matte foundation.

 

I visited my regular salon and had my hair cut and a new fringe cut into it to freshen up my look and it also helped to get rid of some of the layers in my hair that were looking really tired and dry. While at the salon I picked up a treatment by Kevin Murphy and a heat protectant by Kerastase.

 

I picked up some OPI nail polishes in Kennebunk – port and the super sparkly Save me as well as some little decorative decals for my nails.

 

I also grabbed a few Lanolips products including the treatment 101 and the intense moisture hand cream. Both are super hydrating and smell great.

 

For my face I picked up the People For Plants cucumber and aloe hydration gel which is so light and oil free but adds a layer of moisture underneath my moisturiser.

 

In terms of makeup I picked up the brand new Clinique feathered mascara which I was eager to try because I love Clinique mascaras (review to come soon) and a Lancôme Hypnose mascara. I will be culling mascaras in the next few days (some are a little over the expiry recommendations) and I will add these into the mix.

 

I also finally caved in and bought the Estee Lauder Double Wear in the shade Ecru after umming and ahhing over it. I like the more matte finish for winter and have been really impressed with its staying power.
