I love a good dupe, don’t you? A product that is as good as a high end favourite but at a fraction of the cost? Sign me up!

Browsing through new products recently I noticed a little brown tube that looked oddly familiar. Im taking about More Brows from Aussie brand ModelCo.

The packaging and claims are very similar to a leading product in the form of Benefit Cosmetics’ Gimme Brow (Which I must admit is one of my firm favourites)

So lets look at Benefit vs Modelco brow gels

Here is what Benefit says about their product;

Bring on the brows! This innovative brush-on fiber gel adheres to skin & hair…creating brows where before there were none. It builds easily for thick, lush arches, thanks to a tapered brush for blending & precision tip for shaping. Available in two shades.

and ModelCo?

MORE BROWS is a quick-dry gel formula that contains hair-like particles to create the appearance of fuller, more even eyebrows in one application.

When applied onto your natural arches, MORE BROWS helps to extend, re-shape and thicken your eyebrows. Perfect for women with naturally sparse or over-plucked arches, MORE BROWS will take your brows to wow in seconds.

Hmmm…

Both products work well to plump up the brows and fill in sparse areas, both products have compact little spoolies good for getting right into the brow and both products come in two great neutral shades.

The differences? Well Gimme Brow is slightly thicker and the spoil slightly more dense. The More Brows product is a little more watery and slightly darker in shade but is a great stand alone product. More brows gives a slightly harder and stiffer result.

ModelCo’s More Brows retail for $18 while Benefit’s product is double the price at $35.

Im really enjoying both products and while there are slight differences in the formulas they are a very similar product that offers very similar results.
