Thanks for stopping by beauties,Today im reviewing a product that was completely new to me prior to my being sent it.  Its from a brand which is relatively new to Australia but has been established since 1994 and is a cruelty free and socially conscious company which prides itself on providing natural and beautiful products for the face and body.  The Golden Shimmer lotion from Jane Iredale is a multipurpose product in that it can be used to provide an all over sheen on your body or can be concentrated on the high points of your face to highlight and provide radiance to you complexion. Being quite a pale person I was a little hesitant at first about this product as when it is squeezed out of the tube it looks quite dark (and no one wants to look orange) but I was pleasantly surprised at how this product dispersed quickly to provide a sheer wash of very subtle colour and a golden sheen.The word shimmer scared me slightly as it invokes memories of the chunky body glitter and frosty shimmer products I used as a teen but this is completely different. The size of the shimmer particles in the lotion are not chunky but provide more of a sheen to the skin rather than a noticeable shimmer. The tone is golden and would look amazing on darker skin and especially tanned skin but even on my pasty skin it provides a pretty glow. The lotion isn’t just a medium to carry the shimmer but also feels like a quality moisturiser

I really recommend you try this product out especially if like me you’re a little afraid of self tanners as its a beautiful product that imparts a lovely glow while not being overpowering.
