Yippee! I won! I never win!

I was so stoked to recently win this four pack of Runway glosses from Vivacious Cosmetics.

The four pack contains the shades

Strut – a gorgeous deep red shade that borders on maroon in the tube

Haute – a hot pink with fuchsia tendencies

Chic – a midtoned and universally flattering pink

Allure – a nude pink

I thought i would swatch these for you and let you know my feelings about them as I for one have been wondering about the quality of brand since discovering it on Instagram earlier this year.

Ive tried to show you the glosses as they are out of the tube and then sheerer down a bit in the swatches below.

These glosses come in a standard round tube with a good sized doe foot wand applicator.

The apply very well and it does not take much work to have streak free coverage. These glosses are seriously pigmented! Like crazy pigmented! They’re more like super glossy liquid lipsticks than standard lip glosses. All shades are almost completely opaque coverage on the lips with just one swipe. They’re more on the thick side and do swatch on the arm as being quite sticky but once on the lips the stickiness seems to be non existent.

They are fragranced with a pleasant citrus scent (oranges? grapefruit? ) its not overpowering but it is present.

A word of warning is to use Strut with some liner as i found that it did bleed quite a bit around the lip line.

These glosses are priced at $24 which is heading towards the higher end of products but are amazing quality.
