One of the things I’m most looking forward to when Sephora finally opens its doors in December (not long to go now!) are the amazing value sets that let you try out oodles of products in sample sizes. I was saving my pennies for this baby but realised pretty quickly that due to exclusivity contracts these exact packs wouldn’t be able to be sold. So this Give me more lip pack was one of the things i jumped on when i did a US Sephora haul.

 

Being a lip lover i totally couldn’t  look past this set. With brands such as Too Faced, Make Up Forever and Tarte it was like a dream come true. Priced at $US59 it contains $US192 worth of product but keep in mind that you will need to convert that to rapidly falling Aussie dollar and then pay for a shipping service.

There are a wide variety of products in fairly “safe” shades of nude, red and pink ranging from long lasting lip colours from Kat Von D and Too Faced, lip glosses by Hourglass and Laura Mercier and cute little bullets of lipstick from brands Bite beauty, Buxom and Bare Minerals all laid out and packaged up in a gorgeous gift box.

I really do love a product mini and there were som many brands i really wanted to try so it was a  no brainer and i am really enjoying playing and experimenting with all the products. I have to say that i am fairly impressed with all these products and there doesn’t seem to be any “duds”

 All of the shades are pretty wearable as previously mentioned and there weren’t any disappointing products. I f i were to complain about anything it would be the Fresh lip treatment which is so soft and melty application is hard and messy.   The little bullets of lipstick are so adorable and great to pop in your handbag for on the go.

I have loved mixed and matching some of the products to play with formula but mostly i have worn them as is.

The gorgeous soft almost ombre look using the MUF lip pencil and Too Faced lipstick

A beautiful pop of pink using the BITE beauty lipstick. This is much brighter in person and is so smooth to apply.

If you follow me on Instagram you will have seen my first attempt (below) at using a lip tar. It wasn’t quite as hard as I thought it would be but next time I will use a lip liner first to help keep the edges nice and clean

Stila stay all day Vinyl liogloss was true to its name, it kind of set after a while and stuck to the lips while still looking glossy and fresh, it lasted a good 6 to 8 hours.

The too faced melted lipstick is a little hard to apply but using a liner helps greatly. This pink pout lasted most of the day and added a pop to a simple day look.

Kylie Jenner-esque lips using the MUF lip liner to overdraw the lips and fill them in gave a 90s look lip paired with some winged liner.
