Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette
URBAN DECAY NAKED… the three words that hold so much significance for the “makeup community” The UD naked palettes have had an enormous impact in the way that millions of women buy and use makeup.
The latest installment from Urban Decay is the Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette.
The Naked Cherry palette contains 12 never before released eyeshadows in pinks, peaches and sparkling champagne.
While the general reaction from the internet was a fairly positive one, many have complained that deeper reds and the darker shades you might associate with the delicious fruit.
Its worth noting that while the Urban Decay Naked palette is cherry inspired, the Naked palettes at their core Nude, neutral eyeshadow palettes (the Naked Heat palette has been the one that has strayed the most from their tried and true format)
Urban Decay seem to have designed a palette which is simultaneously matched to both spring (for us in the South) and Autumn (fall) for the Northern Hemisphere. One end of the palette smacks of soft peach and cherry blossom shades while the other side could be mistaken for a merlot themed palette.
Words don’t do this palette justice so I highly recommend you check out the video to see swatches as well as the palette in action to create two very different looks.
The Urban Decay Naked Cherry Palette will be hitting Mecca shelves on October 16th and retails for $83 in Australia
