Last year I was lucky enough to meet the creative brains behind the brand Gilded Cage. The Australian brand was created by Rhys Williams with the idea of singular beauty.

All of Gilded Cage products; from lipsticks to eyeshadows and the new highlighters are manufactured in Italy under strict EU regulations. All products are cruelty free as well as fragrance, paraben and talc free.

All of the Unleashed lipsticks ($28) are lightweight and nourishing on the lips featuring floral extracts which help soften lips. The finish  is balm like while still pigmented (see my video below to see swatches of all the shades)

The Revelation Eyeshadows are a cream eyeshadow in a lipgloss style package. The formula is light weight yet absolutely longwearing and budgeproof. The shades are sheer but buildable and blendable with one another, The eyeshadows can be worn alone but also wear well as a base for powder shadows.

Theyre incredibly easy to use. A quick dab on the lid and and some blending with finger tips before they set down to all day smokey eyes. The shimmer finish give a multi dimension look without any fall out.

Ive enjoyed using some of the more neutral shades as a sweat proof, no budge highlighter on the tops of my cheeks.
