Rimmel 15th Anniversary Collection by Kate
Fifteen years ago iconic London based brand Rimmel teamed with the ultimate London It Girl Kate Moss to create what would be one of the most successful and long lasting collab; the Kate Moss Lasting Finish Lipstick collection. Over the years the collab has seen us get our hands on some gorgeous lipsticks in all matter of shades.
The Lasting Finish formula is one of the best from the drugstore as the lipsticks are richly pigmented and long lasting while being comfortable on the lips.
To celebrate the long lasting partnership Rimmel and Kate have released a set of 6 new lipsticks which are based around Kate’s favourite shades, the collection is aptly named the 15th Anniversary Collection by Kate.
The first thing you will notice about the 15th Anniversary Collection By Kate is the amazing rose gold packaging. These lipsticks look super luxe in their reflective (and completely on trend) packaging.
Secondly you will see that the entire collection is based around Kate’s favourite red and nude shades.
Three nude shades are included in the collection with one pink nude (054), one brownish nude (056) and one that is somewhere in the middle (055) featured to try and accomodate for most peoples preference. My favourite of the bunch was shade 055 ironically named “My Nude” as it gave a pretty rosey flush to the lips.
The three red shades include a bright classic red (51 ), a neon orange red (52) as well as a lovely berry red (53) which tended to be my favourite.
The video below gives you a better look at the shades in the Rimmel 15th Anniversary Collection by Kate collection both on the skin and swatched on the lips.
Top to bottom; Shades 54 Rock n Roll nude, 55 My Nude, 56 Boho Nude, 51 Muse Red, 52 Idol Red, 53 Retro Red
