Favourite Five – High End Mascara
Mascara is the one makeup item most beauty junkies say they cant do without. A quick swipe can instantly open up eyes and make a very tired face look more awake and put together.
As a long time beauty enthusiast and beauty blogger I have tried my fair share of mascara wands and formulas on the market. They’re easy to review with minimal testing and because of their short shelf life you can get through a lot of products.
I currently have an embarrassing amount of mascara tubes opened and in rotation and almost double that amount in my “spares” drawer yet to be opened.

As someone with short and straight lashes I am constantly on the search for a magical tube that will add volume, length, separate, lift and not budge.
For me length and lift are the most important factor but at the same time I really struggle with mascara as it tends to clump up really easily and I am one of those people who must have oily under eyes as they always seem to smudge under the eyes despite me setting with powder on a daily basis.
The video below shows you some of my current favourites and are from the more expensive part of my make up collection. Keep an eye out for the frustration of pet ownership.
