L’Oreal La Palette Nude Eyeshadow Palettes
In the past, we drugstore lovers have been forgotten when it comes to eyeshadow palettes. However in the past twelve months brands such as Models Prefer and Maybelline have offered affordable options. The latest drugstore palettes are the L’Oreal La Palette Nude.
Two versions of La Palette nude have been released; the nude beige palette and the nude rose palette. The La Palette nude palettes contain ten shadows in a sleek, black plastic palette. The palettes are gorgeous to look at with a wide range of neutral shades in both matte and shimmer finishes. The appear to be good dupes for the Urban Decay palettes in terms of colour and finish choices.
A generously sized mirror makes the palette feel a little more luxurious, and the dual ended brush and sponge applicator (while not great) is a step above what has traditionally been offered as an applicator in the drugstore.
The La Palette Nude – Nude Beige palette contains 10 light to medium toned shadows and leans towards cool, beige, greige and taupe shades with the odd brown and charcoal shade. The quality of these shades vary with some shades coming off quite pigmented and smooth while others are a little more disappointing being a little chalky with little payoff.
In this palette the shimmers give a lot more payoff and look very pretty on the skin, the mattes however are inconsistent with some being smoother and more pigmented than others.

The L’Oreal La Palette Nude – Nude Rose palette is superior to the beige version in my opinion with some standout shades such as a gorgeous pink duo chrome and deep purple as well as some lovely rosey transition shades. As with the beige palette the quality and texture of the shadows vary from shade to shade with some being soft and others being quite hard set and a little chalky.
Talc is the first ingredient listed in these shadows which may be a problem for some people but did not break me out at all.

The L’Oreal La Palette Nude eyeshadow palettes are available now at Priceline for $29.95
