Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette
She has finally arrived in Australia; The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette was one of the most anticipated beauty released so far this year.
As a loyal fan of the original palette I had decided early on that I would like to purchase the latest palette in the collection; the Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette. I still believe that the original chocolate palette is one of the most versatile and blendable palettes to ever exist (big claims) and after passing on the semi sweet palette I decided that my birthday was the perfect excuse to treat myself.

The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette features fourteen adorable heart shaped eyeshadows as well as two bar shaped shadows in a variety of shimmer and matte shades. The palette is generally warm and neutral but does feature some cooler shades and a couple of pink shades to add some colour.
There are a few shades that stand out as a little unique and immediately drew me in;
Almond truffle is a matte, cool toned mauve which looks beautiful used in the crease for a simple contoured eye look.
Molasses Chip is a warm copper with a good amount of warm shimmery sheen, I love that its not overly glittery and so can be used all over the eye for a beautiful wash of colour.
Totally Fetch (that name!) is the giant pop of colour in this palette is a deep fuchsia with a good amount of shimmer.
After playing with this for a couple of weeks I have been impressed to say the least. Most of the shades perform as well as the original with the mattes blending well to create soft shadowing as well as being buildable and the shimmers being bright and pigmented.
The Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons Palette ($78) is available now at Mecca Maxima

March 29, 2016I just bought the original and I'm in love! Some of the shades I think are a little hard, but they're still beautifully pigmented and of course THAT SCENT. I really need to pick this up, I love the colors.

April 15, 2016This palette just wasn't for me. The cool tones just didn't fit in with my complexion and I found myself having to mix this one with other palettes. Glad you like it though!!! Great review xx
