Even if you’re not hanging out on Waikiki beach  like me (You know Im totally going to rub it in for as long as I can) you can totally achieve that sun kissed bronzey look with a couple of products.

I recently received a whole bunch of gorgeous makeup items fro The Body Shop and chose three pieces that I thought could help achieve that gorgeous shimmery look that looks so beautiful on tanned (natural or manufactured) skin.

Starting with cheeks the new Honey Bronze Highlighting Dome is a warm, shimmery cream product. Its marketed as a highlighting product but the shade I have (Shade 2) is  pigmented enough that it could be used as a creme blush. I love the format of these. the super bendable cream product is applied straight from the dome and is compact enough to travel with.

Following your cream product is the much hyped Honey Bronze Bronzing Powder. This is my second pan of this beautiful bronzing powder. Its perfect for normally pale girls like me as  shade 1 is a soft, warm shade that blends well and doesn’t look orange. Used to frame the face, focusing on the cheeks, and temples the Honey Bronze Bronzing powder gives a slightly warm finish to the face.

Finishing off your bronzed look the Shimmer Waves is The Body Shop’s answer to the shimmer strips produced by many companies. The coral shade that I have has both lighter and more colourful shades in the one pan that can be used separately (the pale shades are the perfect shimmery highlights) or swirled together to add a shimmery topper to your blush to add dimension and depth.
