Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powder
What is packaged like MAC, resembles Hourglass but is crazy affordable and accessible?
The Models Prefer Soft Touch Mineral Powders. These light and finely milled powders help to give a subtle lit from within look when used on the highpoints of the face but are light enough to be used to set concealer and are perfect for under the eyes.
A number of shades are available to help highlight the face (Luminous glow) or give some warmth (radiant bronze) My favourite and most used however is the shade Soft Focus, which imparts a soft, cool toned glow to the face.
They’re quite hard but smooth in the pan and look almost invisible on the brush and quite sheer to swatch. They have the texture of a baked powder product but aren’t overly powdery. The texture reminds me a lot of the well known light reflecting pressed powder from Nars.
I typically use this to set my underage makeup as well as a subtle highlighter when I want to be more ethereal goddess than shiny disco ball. Swirling a brush over the pan, the perfect amount of product is picked up without having to tap off any excess.
Priced at $16.99 theyre a fraction of the price of the much hyped Ambient lighting powders and are well worth a look. Available from Priceline.
