My High End Beauty Wishlist

Imagine having endless money and space to be able to purchase all those high end goodies that keep getting released.

Alas we have to keep staring at all these goodies on our wishlist, waiting for another day (pay day? lottery winning day?)

I have been very very reserved in my spending so far in 2015 simply because there is only so much product one girl can own without looking like a hoarder and I decided that I would like to get more use of some of my products before spending money on more.

Yet Mecca, Sephora and the Department Stores aren’t making it easy as they just keeps bringing new items to our shores and making me lust after them

What follows is an abbreviated list of high end items that I’m lusting after. Be warned its amazing!!

The Two Faced Better than Sex mascara is not new, its just been missing from our shores for so long that it feels new. Girls who love it claim that it gives maximum volume and length in one coat. Its still unavailable online but should be available at some Kit cosmetics and Mecca Maxima stores now.

I so want the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water, I’m a massive fan of the original photo finish primer and really really need to try its liquid sister. IT can be sprayed on the face to help create an even hydrated base for your foundation as well as afterwards to help avoid cake face and keep the skin hydrated all day

Oh my goodness! Look at that gorgeous cream contour palette. While contouring is something that i do rarely i am really interested in trying some cream products as i feel they tend to blend so much more easily than powders on me. This is the Stila Shape and Shade Custom Contour Duo which is quite sheer and blendable on the skin.

Guys, i think i need the Urban Decay All Nighter setting Spray as well as the Deslick… yeah thats right.. both! Ive been using MACs Fix+ and while its a great mixing medium and goes a great job at finishing off makeup i don’t really feel it does much to prolong its wear. Im super excited to head into Mecca to see the range of Urban Decay goodies! Finally!!

Clinique makeup is seriously so underrated! Their Superbalanced makeup is a product which i keep coming back to again and again (and wondering why i ever stopped using)The new Beyond Perfecting makeup is more high coverage and more like a cream foundation rather than a liquid. I picked up my sample pot from Myer over the weekend and even though they didn’t have a sample pot available of my shade (ivory) the next shade up wore well throughout the day (even if it was too dark)

Dear Sunday Riley, Why does this product have to cost $125? Dont you know how much i really need it! Ive tried two sample sachets of the Good Genes Treatment and was blown away at how beautiful my skin looked and felt the morning after applying it. It helped to plump my skin while also working as an exfoliant to keep me looking fresh.

The Alpha H Liquid Gold earns its name. Ive been using my sample that came with an Adore Beauty order a few months ago and i love how smoothing it is. Its a chemical exfoliant that uses glycolic acid to get rid of dead skin cells and help reduce the appearance of scars and marks on the skin. Im in love!

If you’re a regular reader you’ll know how much i adore the brand Benefit. Their adorable packaging and effective products are generally a winner for me. However i was pretty much the only one in the world who didn’t love They’re real mascara. Im really looking forward to trying out the new Rollerlash mascara though as I’m someone with fairly short and straight lashes.

Oh hey NARS! These Dual Intensity blushes are yet to hit our shores. But Im hoping that we will be able to pick them up from Mecca when they do. The palette contains two wet or dry blushes that can be use alone or layered for multidimensional effect.

Since visiting Sephora Sydney for the first time I’ve pretty much been a Itcosmetics devotee. Im looking forward to trying out the Bye Bye Undereye Corrector once my Bobbi Brown Corrector runs out. It looks so smooth and creamy in the pot and very highly pigmented to help cover my pesky purple grey under eyes.

So much good stuff! So much lust! So depressing and exciting at the same time. Ive purposely left prices off simply because I needed less of the depression but have included links to most items (Hurry up Sephora Aus and make online shopping a thing!) so you can bask in all its expensive glory!
