Monochrome animal print nails using stamping

Stamping is a quick and easy way to achieve nail art.

Here is a quick little manicure that you can achieve with minimal supplies.
Be sure to play around with technique and always lay something on the workspace such as a magazine as this can get messy.
Supplies

– white polish (OPI alpine snow)
– coloured Polish for accent (ulta3 fruit tingle)
– black polish
– KONAD nail stamping plate m93
– KONAD stamping tool and scraper
– nailpolish remover
– cotton pads
– cotton tips
– topcoat (Seche vite)
Step 1
Apply two coats of your chosen polish. I’ve used white with a pink accent nail
Step 2.
Apply a liberal amount of black polish to the stamping plate.
Step 3
Use the scraper to firmly go over the plate. A thin layer of polish should be left in the patterned parts of the plate. This is the messy part.
Step 4.
Use a rolling motion to pick up the pattern from the plate using the rubber stamper. Go over only once as this should pick up enough polish and avoid smudging.
Step 6.
Again use a rolling motion from one side to another, pressing firmly to transfer the pattern from the stamper to the nail. Go over only once. Be sure to cover the nail from edge to edge.
Here is what it look like when you are done!
Step 7.
Use a cotton tip dipped in nail polish remover to clean up the messy edges
Apply clear top coat and you’re all done!!
KONAD supplies can be purchased from ebay or http://www.konadnailart.com
