Ive really cut down on my makeup purchases of late (disregard my MAC lippie haul.. they were essentials) mostly because I feel that I’m not using up a lot of my products due to the sheer size of my collection but also because I need to be sensible about just how much product one girl needs!
So this little haul of drugstore goodies are a result of a visit to Big W where I conveniently found that they had 30% off most of the stocked cosmetics. I posted part one of it on Instagram last week, but here are the full details, Ive listed the approximate price I paid after the 30% was deducted. You can check normal prices by heading to a website like Priceline
Maybelline NY Volum’ Express Falsies Big Eyes Mascara (approx $13)
Ive used it once and am fond of the little lower lash brush (Full review soon)
L’Oreal SuperLiner Perfect Slim in Intense Black (approx. $16)
Yet to be used, I like the look of the long tip and it swatches as really intense black.
L’Oreal Base Magique Transforming Smoothing Primer (approx. $21)
This is one product that Im not sure I really should have bought seeing that I have a lot of primers. Ive been fairly curious about it for a while though and I guess it wasn’t too expensive compared to some of my high end primers.
I think this must have been more than 30% off as when I just calculated the price from the Priceline website it came up with $16 but im certain I only paid $14 as I distinctly remember being impressed with the price. Hmm regardless, I purchased this so that I could compare it with the more affordable Garnier product.
Covergirl Bombshell Intensity Liner (approx. $8)
Ok, Im not going to lie, The main reason I purchased this liner is because it is just so darned cute. Its incredibly tiny. However when I brought it home and swatched it I was surprised at how budgeproof it was, it even withstood a hot steamy shower! WIll let you know how I go with it.
The last part of my purchase was another Maybelline Express nail polish remover cos I just love that product!
Have you used any of these products? Do you have any tips on using them?
