Max Factor Lipfinity
Today on the kissiest of kissy days I decided to “road test” this Max Factor lipfinity lip colour in the very valentine colour of “hot” that I was sent to try out.
I have used similar “long wear colour” products before and had found them quite drying and flakey so I was interested to see how this would go.
The application was easy, like similar products it’s a two step process which involves applying the colour with a doe foot wand and then waiting for it to dry before adding the moisture coat.
The colour wasnt as intense as I had anticipated. It had a slight translucency that I wasn’t expecting and looked more subtle and pretty than in the tube. It took almost no time to dry and I was out the door.
I was really surprised at how dewey and lipgloss – like this was. It looked very similar to a colour balm. I really liked this look and have heaps of those crayon type lipcolours which I love but find don’t last more than a couple of hours.
I checked myself at midday (after lunch) and found that the color was perfect but there was a slight gritty feeling to my lips. I applied a tiny bit more of the clear coat and the looked and felt good as new. It was like I had just applied lipstick.
At 4pm the colour still looks great!!! If you look closely there is a small amount of wear on the inside of my lips but this is not significant considering that I talk all day while at work and have eaten twice and even brushed my teeth!
Now at 9pm we have wined and dined and the colour is still there. It’s not as fresh looking and is a little worn in some areas but at 13 hours I’m not complaining. This is amazing. I am definitely going to head into Priceline to see what other colours are available!
