Review – benefit lollitint
Imagine my delight when a few months ago the Pantone colour of the year was announced and was ‘Radiant orchid” Why the excitement? Because only a few days earlier i had ordered the newly released Lollitint from Benefit cosmetics. I waited patiently for my order to arrive from the U.S so that i could play with this little paintable pot of pink.
As i type this entry the Benefit counter in Myer Sydney is celebrating all things pink as the lollitint gets released for special purchase tonight. The tint was made available on the US website in Novemeber of 2013 and i put that baby into my cart as soon as i could.
Lollitint joins the rest of the Benefit lip and cheek tints and is the more pigmented and “purply” cousin of the glorious posietint.
As far as im aware the tint has very little to no fragrance to it, the formula is light, creamy and blendable, to me it seemed much more “stainable” than posietint but this is probably because it appears to be more pigmented.
top to bottom; Lollitint, ChaChatint, Posietint, Benetint. to prove their super staying power; the picture on the right is my swatches after i wiped and rinsed off my forearms
Lollitint is a great “first tint” the sheer glowiness of the product should suit most skin shades and seems to be pretty buildable, suitable for subtle transluscent glow to party girl pops of pink cheeks. With a bit of liner the tint looks great as lip colour. (to be a total orchid goddess a tiny bit of lipgloss in a shade like “kiss me” to add some shine)
This product gives a divine dewey look to the skin and Benefit seem to be onto a winner with this one. Highly recommended!
Available at Australian Benefit counters very very soon and www.benefitcosmetics.com right now!!
