German brand Zoeva are well known amongst the beauty community for producing high quality cosmetic brushes for reasonable prices, but few people are aware of their extraordinary makeup. My first foray into their makeup offerings was the Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette.

For under forty dollars you get a remarkably well curated and high quality palette consisting of ten shades of eyeshadow. The shades in the Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette lean towards cooler toned taupes, greiges and greys with a pop of eggplant and some warmer transition shades.

The texture of the shadows in the Zoeva En Taupe Eyeshadow Palette are incredibly soft and pigmented, the shimmer shades in particular rival the quality of some much more expensive brands and blend smoothly to create both simple or more elaborate looks. The extraordinarily soft texture of the shadows means that there is a fair amount of fall out when swatching but this seems to be less of a problem when actually using on the eyes.
