A couple of weeks ago you might have seen my post about the surge in makeup products in pencil form. One of the brands mentioned was the new to Australia brand NUDESTIX.

NUDESTIX are a fresh and young brand who create easy to use products for the face, lips and eyes all in pencil form. The brand was founded by two young model sisters who loved the look of natural makeup and wanted a no fuss solution on the run.

All products come packaged in their own little tin, the tins hold approximately 6 pencils and are great for carrying around multiple producs. The lid pops right off and had a large mirror on the underside to help you apply your product on the go.

I was lucky enough to be gifted three tins from Sephora recently.

The NUDESTIX eyepencil is a liner and cream shadow in one. It has a super soft and blendable colour on one end and a small smudger on the other. I love using this bronze shade smudged into the crease and along the lash line to create a one step contoured eye. Im impressed that this product doesnt smudge or crease on my super oily lids but stays true to colour for the whole day.

The magnetic eyecolor pencils are a range of waterproof cream eyeshadow pencils in a multitude of neutral shades. The shade i have (Angel) looks great paired with the darker eye pencil to add a little highlight to the lid or worn alone as a wash of transparent color all over the lid.

My favourite product from the collection has to be the lip pencils. The product inside is so creamy and smooth and the pigmentation is great. I’ve got the Mystic/Whisper combo. The chubby lip pencil is the perfect size, it still precise enough to line the lip but also great for laying down colour.

 Concealers are also available from NUDESTIX. Theyre  super smooth as well and blend with minimal tapping with the fingers. Theyre idea for masking redness, covering spots and highlighting. I wouldnt recommend them for under the eyes though. Each pencil comes with a sharpener which can be popped on the back of the pencil for on the go sharpening or kept along side it in the tin.
